Author Guidlines
MANTHANO: Journal of Christian Education Writing Guidelines.
Writing MANTHANO Journal has provisions that need to be considered and fulfilled by the author; these provisions include:
A. Journal Provisions
Journal manuscripts are original works of the author and have never been published or are being submitted to other magazines or journals.
- Manuscripts written for the MANTHANO Journal are scientific in nature, the result of field research or Christian Education literature.
- The manuscripts submitted use standard Indonesian language according to the refined Indonesian spelling rules or the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI).
- Unpublished articles are not returned except at the author's request.
B. Journal Format
- Manuscripts are written with: a. Length. 4000-6,000 words using 1.15 spacing Microsoft Word program; b. Times New Roman font, size 12 pts, on A4 paper; c. Margins: top 4 cm, left 3 cm, right 3 cm, and bottom 4 cm.
- The manuscript is entered into the OJS (Open Journal System) MANTHANO.
- Systematics of writing: Title, Author’s Name (without title), Abstract (English and Indonesian), Keywords (English and Indonesian), Contents (Indonesian) contain Introduction, research methods, results and discussion, Conclusion, and References / Bibliography.
- The title of the manuscript is in capital letters and placed in the middle (Capitalized, Bold, Center), using a font size of 14 Times New Roman.
- Author’s name; a. Placed under the title of the manuscript. b. Writing names without academic titles. c. The author’s home institution. d. Correspondence Email Address. Correspondence Email Address.
- Abstract: a. Written using English and Indonesian and no more than 250 words; b. Could you briefly explain the objectives, problems, methods, stages of writing, and conclusions? c. It is the essence of the manuscript's content, stating briefly the research objectives, scope of the problem, methodology, findings, and research results; d. It contains the keywords mentioned. It contains the keywords mentioned.
- Keywords are in English and Indonesian.
- The Introduction section contains the background of the problem, a review of previous research to show novelty, the purpose of the discussion, and the advantages of the article written (state of the art).
- The research method section discusses the methods used in the article and describes the research variables according to the method used.
- The results and discussion section is the author’s discussion of the findings that want to be shown in related articles from the research.
- The conclusion section is written in at most three paragraphs. It contains findings or contributions that the author wants to convey, limitations in research, and opportunities for other authors to conduct research related to the study results.
- References used at least or close to 80% are primary reference sources, such as Journal Proceedings, monographs, and unpublished research results.
- The sources listed in the references use APA style (American Psychological Association, 7th edition) and are written using Reference Manager applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, etc.
- All articles are reviewed by (Reviewers) appointed by the Editor according to their expertise. The article's author is allowed to make revisions according to the Reviewer’s or editor's input.
