The journal is published <strong data-start="542" data-end="556">biannually</strong>, in <strong data-start="561" data-end="570">March</strong> and <strong data-start="575" data-end="588">September</strong>, and implements a <strong data-start="607" data-end="642">double-blind peer-review system</strong> to ensure the objectivity and academic quality of each submitted manuscript.</p> <p class="" data-start="721" data-end="1223"><strong data-start="721" data-end="733">Manthano</strong> focuses on the development of Christian education studies based on <strong data-start="801" data-end="867">interdisciplinary, contextual, and transformational approaches</strong>, both <strong data-start="874" data-end="887">empirical</strong> and <strong data-start="892" data-end="906">conceptual</strong>. In the context of the Tolaki community, the concept of Kalosara—emphasizing unity, justice, and cooperation—serves as a fundamental cultural value that can inform and strengthen ethical leadership. This study explores how Kalosara, combined with Christian education, provides a solid foundation for transformational leadership that promotes peace and social cohesion. Christian teachings on servant leadership, justice, and reconciliation align with Kalosara’s principles, forming a unique framework for leaders who prioritize the well-being of others and foster inclusive communities. The research aims to examine the integration of these values into leadership models that contribute to societal peace and harmony. Dalam konteks masyarakat Tolaki, konsep Kalosara—yang menekankan persatuan, keadilan, dan kerja sama—berfungsi sebagai nilai budaya yang mendasar yang dapat menginformasikan dan memperkuat kepemimpinan berbasis etika. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana Kalosara, yang dipadukan dengan pendidikan Kristen, memberikan fondasi yang kokoh untuk kepemimpinan transformasional yang mendorong perdamaian dan kohesi sosial. Ajaran Kristen tentang kepemimpinan hamba, keadilan, dan rekonsiliasi sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip Kalosara, membentuk kerangka kerja yang unik bagi pemimpin yang mengutamakan kesejahteraan orang lain dan membangun komunitas yang inklusif. The influence of social media, digital content, and virtual interaction in the gadget world has affected their mindset and moral behaviour. Therefore, Christian education, which is supposed to shape character and morality based on the teachings of Christ, is faced with great challenges in teaching ethical values in the midst of the rapid development of cyberspace which often contradicts moral principles and Christian values. This research aims to examine the role of Christian education in shaping the morality of the Alpha generation in the digital world, with a focus on the integration of theology in relevant theological ethical teaching. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. The conclusion of this study shows that the integration of theological teachings in Christian education can strengthen the foundation of Alpha generation morality, by emphasising biblical values in their digital life. Such as the paradigm of the concept of Christian morality and ethics in the digital context and the existence of morality issues in the digital world for the alpha generation that must be resolved. So that Christianity has an educational role in shaping morality in the digital world, which is based on theology-based Christian education for ethical formation in the digital era.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan sosial dan budaya serta spiritualitas, khususnya bagi generasi Alpha yang tumbuh dalam era digital dan globalisasi internet of thinks. Pengaruh media sosial, konten digital, dan interaksi virtual dalam gawai telah memengaruhi pola pikir dan perilaku moral mereka. Maka itu pendidikan Kristen, yang seharusnya membentuk karakter dan moralitas berdasarkan ajaran Kristus, dihadapkan pada tantangan besar dalam mengajarkan nilai-nilai etika di tengah pesatnya perkembangan dunia maya yang seringkali bertentangan dengan prinsip moral dan nilai kekristenan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pendidikan Kristen dalam membentuk moralitas generasi Alpha di dunia digital, dengan fokus pada integrasi teologi dalam pengajaran etis teologis yang relevan. Menggunkan metode kualitatif deskritif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ajaran teologi dalam pendidikan Kristen dapat memperkuat dasar moralitas generasi Alpha, dengan menekankan nilai-nilai alkitabiah dalam kehidupan digital mereka. Moralitas dan etika kristen dalam konteks digital dan adanya persoalan moralitas dalam dunia digital bagi generasi alpha yang harus diselesaikan. Issues such as religion-based conflicts, intolerance, and a lack of understanding of diversity serve as major obstacles. This study aims to explore the principles of Christian Religious Education that contribute to the development of tolerance and social harmony. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach to identify relevant Christian Religious Education values within the context of pluralism. The findings indicate that the implementation of values such as respect for differences, the principle of equality, interfaith dialogue, empathy, mutual cooperation, and social solidarity plays a crucial role in creating a harmonious environment. Christian Religious Education not only functions as an instrument for the spiritual formation of individuals but also as a medium for building bridges of understanding and interfaith interaction. Thus, this study underscores the importance of applying these principles in educational practices to support the creation of a more inclusive and peaceful society.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Pendidikan Agama Kristen di Indonesia menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam mewujudkan harmoni dan toleransi di tengah masyarakat yang beragam. Permasalahan seperti konflik berbasis perbedaan agama, intoleransi, serta minimnya pemahaman terhadap keberagaman menjadi faktor penghambat utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi prinsip-prinsip dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan sikap toleransi dan kerukunan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber literatur, termasuk buku, jurnal akademik, artikel ilmiah, serta dokumen yang relevan dengan Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan pluralisme. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis isi (content analysis) guna mengidentifikasi dan mengkaji nilai-nilai Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang berkontribusi dalam mewujudkan keharmonisan dalam masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai seperti penghormatan terhadap perbedaan, prinsip kesetaraan, dialog antaragama, empati, semangat gotong royong, dan solidaritas sosial berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang harmonis. Pendidikan Agama Kristen tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai instrumen pembentukan spiritualitas individu, tetapi juga sebagai medium dalam membangun jembatan pemahaman dan interaksi lintas agama. Empirically, religion is closely related to problems in society. Religion can be used to defend political and economic interests, especially if the religion has formed a social or political identity. In addition, interfaith relations are often plagued by factors such as historically rooted divergent views, negative perspectives on other religions, and competition to expand influence and convert people to their respective religions. This study aims to explore the various strategies used in Christian religious education and how they can contribute to the development of moderate attitudes among religious believers. The research method used in this article is a qualitative method with a library research approach. In the world of research, qualitative research is a method that focuses on understanding and explaining social phenomena through the perspective of individuals or groups. The essence of the discussion of this article states the importance of balance in the practice and understanding of religion, as well as preventing extreme and violent actions. The principles of moderation include justice, kindness, wisdom and consistency, which support the strengthening of tolerance in society. Christian Religious Education has a crucial role in fostering a tolerant attitude by teaching the value of love and forgiveness, and emphasizing the importance of respecting diversity.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Permasalahan agama tidak dapat dipisahkan dari masyarakat karena agama berperan penting dalam kehidupan sosial. Secara empiris, agama erat hubungannya dengan persoalan di masyarakat. Agama dapat digunakan untuk membela kepentingan politik dan ekonomi, terutama jika agama tersebut sudah membentuk identitas sosial atau politik. Selain itu, Hubungan antar agama juga seringkali diganggu oleh beberapa faktor seperti pandangan-pandangan berbeda yang telah mengakar secara historis, perspektif negatif terhadap agama lain, serta kompetisi dalam memperluas pengaruh dan mengajak orang masuk dalam agama masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai strategi yang digunakan dalam pendidikan agama Kristen, serta bagaimana strategi-strategi tersebut dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan sikap moderat di kalangan umat beragama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka <em>(library research).</em> Dalam dunia penelitian, penelitian kualitatif adalah metode yang fokus pada pemahaman dan penjelasan fenomena sosial melalui perspektif individu atau kelompok. Inti dari pembahasan artikel ini menyatakan pentingnya keseimbangan dalam praktik dan pemahaman agama, serta mencegah tindakan ekstrim dan kekerasan. Prinsip-prinsip moderasi meliputi keadilan, kebaikan, kebijaksanaan, dan konsistensi, yang mendukung perkuatan toleransi di dalam masyarakat. This study assesses the spirituality levels of students at SMP Kristen Makedonia Ngabang across four dimensions: spiritual beliefs, moral behavior, religious practices, and gratitude, employing a quantitative descriptive approach with the Youth Spirituality Scale (YSS) on 26 ninth-grade students. The results reveal that the students' spirituality levels fall under the very high category (average score: 102.42), with Spiritual Beliefs and Gratitude as the most dominant dimensions, reflecting strong connections with God and positive life attitudes. However, weaknesses in honesty within the Moral Behavior dimension highlight the need for strengthening character education. This study affirms the effectiveness of holistic Christian education through activities such as prayer, worship, and mentoring. Recommendations include integrating spiritual values into curricula, adopting personalized approaches, and fostering moral discussions to support student development. Future research is suggested to explore the long-term impacts of spirituality on students' psychosocial and academic outcomes.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Pendidikan Kristen berperan penting dalam membentuk spiritualitas siswa di tengah tantangan modern. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi tingkat spiritualitas siswa SMP Kristen Makedonia Ngabang melalui empat dimensi: keyakinan spiritual, perilaku moral, praktik keagamaan, dan rasa syukur, menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan Youth Spirituality Scale (YSS) pada 26 siswa kelas 9. Hasil menunjukkan tingkat spiritualitas siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi (rata-rata 102,42), dengan dominasi pada dimensi Keyakinan Spiritual dan Rasa Syukur, yang mencerminkan hubungan siswa yang kuat dengan Tuhan serta sikap hidup positif. Namun, kelemahan pada aspek kejujuran dalam Perilaku Moral mengindikasikan perlunya penguatan pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menegaskan keberhasilan pendidikan Kristen holistik melalui kegiatan doa, ibadah, dan mentoring. Direkomendasikan integrasi nilai spiritual dalam kurikulum, pendekatan personal, dan diskusi moral untuk pengembangan siswa.
